Kelsey Bollig is a writer/director based in Los Angeles known for crafting genre stories with teeth — bold, subversive, and unafraid to bleed.

A rising force in horror and action, Bollig made her entrance into the industry with a bang, winning Best Screenplay at just 12 years old for her feature Big Kids Play Manslaughter at Hollywood Shriekfest.

Since then, her visceral and stylish storytelling has made waves on the international festival circuit. Her shorts have screened at Fantasia, Fantastic Fest, Beyond Fest, Hollyshorts, and Uppsala, earning awards like Best Horror (The Fourth Wall) and Best Action (Kickstart My Heart) at the Academy Award–qualifying Hollyshorts, as well as top honors from Nightmares Film Festival and Dances with Films.

She has directed special episodic content for Amazon’s Hunters, and is currently attached to direct Breeders for HyperObject, starring Olivia Cooke.

Bollig’s work is now available to watch on the esteemed SHORT OF THE WEEK as well as the horror YouTube channels ALTER, CRYPT TV and DIRECTOR’S NOTES.

Kelsey is repped by CAA and Untitled, and is a proud member of the Directors Guild of America.
